My name is Vu, I’m pursuing a PhD in Business. With a deep passion for adult lifelong learning and the belief that the most effective professionals master both the art and science of their craft. My goal is to strengthen the connection between industry and academia.
My expertise is built from senior executive roles across global automotive and corporate sectors, supported by qualifications including an Executive MBA, Graduate Certificate in Business Psychology, Bachelor of Applied Management, Advanced Diploma of Management and Diploma of Hospitality Management. I have a Board Directors certificate and currently serve on the Surf Life Saving NSW Event Safety Services Advisory Board, where I contribute commercial, risk, and governance oversight. I am the director of sales maturity company, Salesphere, and an accredited RTO Trainer and Assessor in leadership, management and business, I am also an appointed Justice of the Peace in NSW.
Combining this blend of strategic experience, governance discipline, and commitment to professional excellence, I aim to advocate for postgraduate priorities throughout the communities within and associated with Victoria University.
Personal Connection to VUPA's Mission
My intention at VUPA is to enhance the visibility and impact of postgraduate study by raising awareness of our programs, strengthening engagement across our community, and expanding connections between students and industry. I will lend my experience and expertise to support an organisation that is ready to take the needs of our members into the future, helping ensure VUPA continues to evolve in step with the aspirations and needs of the postgraduate cohort.
I am committed to representing coursework students effectively at round tables and advisory discussions, and to bringing industry insight that helps align VU’s postgraduate offerings with contemporary professional development and career pathways.
