- My name is Wania Anoosh, and I am a PhD candidate in Electrical Engineering at Victoria University. My research specializes in advanced modelling and fault-localization techniques for Single Wire Earth Return (SWER) power distribution networks, operating at the intersection of signal processing and power systems engineering. My commitment to the postgraduate community is grounded in my diverse academic journey. Through roles in teaching and research assistance, and now as a researcher myself, I have gained a granular understanding of the landscape that higher-degree researchers navigate. I recognize that the challenges we face, from technical hurdles to isolation, require more than just resilience; they require a supportive ecosystem. I bring to this role not only the analytical mindset of an engineer but also a proven dedication to supervision support and student engagement.
